Pastor C. H. Jury is the founding pastor of Truth Tabernacle. He and his wife, Sue Jury, live in Blackshear, Georgia. They have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. Along with his pastoral duties, Pastor Jury also serves as the District Secretary for the Georgia District of the United Pentecostal Church International.
The Jury's started Truth Tabernacle in 1975 with 24 people in attendance at their first service. Prior to this, both attended Texas Bible College in Houston, Texas, and were married in 1970. Pastor Jury graduated from TBC in 1971, and they ministered in several churches as traveling evangelists. Through miraculous provision, Truth Tabernacle was able to purchase the building on Gordon Street shortly after they began holding services at that location. Now averaging an attendance of between 85-100 people, the church still meets there to this day. Though the building has undergone several renovations and upgrades, it still stands as a testimony to God's provision and power!
